Queenstown Airport provides a convenient and efficient way to get from the airport to your destination. There are three different parking options: short-term, medium-term, and long-term.

Short-term parking is ideal for those who will only be away from their vehicle for up to four hours; it's also the most expensive option. This is great if you're stopping off in Queenstown for a few hours before heading elsewhere or picking someone up.

Medium-term parking allows you to park your vehicle for a few hours. Long-term parking covers any period over 24 hours, with discounted rates available on more extended stays. All car parks have security cameras installed so drivers can rest assured that their vehicle is safe while away.

Disabled Parking at Queenstown Airport

There are two free mobility P60 parking spots conveniently located right outside the airport terminal at Queenstown Airport. There are four designated spaces in Car Park A for those with mobility impairments.

P2 Drop-Off Zone at Queenstown Airport

The P2 is conveniently located outside the departure terminal for private passenger drop-offs. Businesses are prohibited from using the designated drop-off area.

P20 Express Parking at Queenstown Airport

In terminal car park A, there are designated pick-up/drop-off parking bays, so passengers can easily leave the airport quickly for their flights. These are designated as P20 and are located right next to the terminal.

Twenty minutes in advance, no charge. Only validate your parking ticket if you have been in the parking lot for less than 20 minutes. When leaving the building, please insert it into the barrier arm machine.

Please park in a space not designated as P20, validate your ticket at the pay station, and then insert it into the barrier arm machine at the exit if your visit lasts longer than 20 minutes.

Short and Long Stay Parking at Queenstown Airport

Price: Daily rates begin at $25.

For people who want to park for longer than 20 minutes, Queenstown Airport currently provides two terminal automobile parking lots (A and B). The prices for parking a car in these lots are identical. They are our most practical parking option for brief or extended visits because they are close to the terminal.

Car Park A: The rapid pick-up and drop-off zone is located in the front five bays of Car Park A, which is directly in front of the terminal. Nearly 300 terminal parking spaces and 4 mobility parking places are also available.

Car Park B: Across the street from the rental vehicle lot and just a few steps from the terminal to the right is Car Park B. There are 77 parking spaces here.

Park & Ride at Queenstown Airport

This site is secure, convenient, and safe. An inexpensive choice for short, medium, or long-term parking close to the terminal gates. For the convenience of its customers, a shuttle with a luggage trailer operates here every 40 minutes.

From the parking lot to the terminal, the journey should take about 15 minutes. The trip and frequency are synchronized with the airline schedules to ensure we have you covered. Plan ahead if you can. Allow plenty of time before your flight takes off.

Payment Methods at Queenstown Airport

Terminal parking fees at Queenstown Airport can be paid with cash, credit card, or EFTPOS. It's easy to find the payment kiosk because it's right by the door leading to the terminal. All major credit cards and cash are accepted at any of the stations.

Please approach a helpful team member at the Airport Information Desk inside the terminal if you have difficulties using the payment kiosk. A credit card or debit card is required for payment. Insert your card and tap your way in and out. There is a strict no-cash policy in place.
