Disabled Parking at Palmerston North Airport

Anyone with a valid disability parking placard can park in any available space at Palmerston North Airport's parking garages. The General Car Park has the closest accessible parking spots to the terminal.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off at Palmerston North Airport

The General Car Park, denoted by the red parallel lines just outside the terminal, is where we collect and drop off passengers. Red parallel parking is reserved for P5 vehicles. To park for free for up to 15 minutes, use any of the other spots in the General Car Park.

Parking spaces reserved for those with mobility impairments are located on the left side of the terminal building. Your mobility parking permit must always be clearly visible.

Long-Stay Parking at Palmerston North Airport

This is on Airport Drive and can be reserved in advance online. Please utilize our General Car Park for all short-term parking needs. If you need to leave your car at the airport for five days or longer, you can do so for as little as $5.50 per day in the Long Stay Car Park, as indicated by the grey 'L' signage.

Bookings must include at least 24 hours of parking time, and there is a surcharge for payments made with credit cards.

General Parking at Palmerston North Airport

You can use the ones with a green 'G' for five minutes or more. You cannot reserve a spot in this lot online; it is for drop-in use. Please take a ticket upon arrival and then pay at one of our pay stations before returning to your vehicle.

Oversized Parking at Palmerston North Airport

This parking spot, denoted by an orange 'O,' is available for visits of five minutes or more. This parking lot is for drop-in use and is not available for the online reservation. Please take a ticket upon arrival and pay at one of our pay stations before resuming your trip to your vehicle.

Forms of Payment at Palmerston North Airport

It's convenient to pay for parking at the airport with a credit card, Eftpos, PayWave, or cash. Credit cards, Eftpos, and PayWave, are accepted at every terminal.

Cash is accepted only at machines 1 and 3. The first ATM is situated outside the terminal, and the third can be found in the General Parking Lot.

Terminal 2 is outside the terminal building, and vending machine 4 is next to the Airport Help Desk. The two of them do not accept cash because they are Express Pay.

Access the airport's Long Stay Parking Lot with a prior online reservation (24 hours minimum stay). Reservations for the Long Term Parking Garage are required.
